    It is a change of football culture i understand why he wants to leave I wish he wouldn’t but he made up his mind at least a year ago

    He looked really underwhelming his first few games for us. Since then - one dip apart - he's probably been the best midfielder in the league, along with Rodri. With Rodri out, he's been easily the best midfielder in the league this season

    Ideally, but just dont think we have the resources to buy 2 first choice full backs and strengthen the other areas we need to. He was injured playing for Scotland end of last season wasnt he? I think that impacted his pre-season. He still has his pace. I reckon he could be really good next season. With the RB you need to sign someone as a first choice who is basically brilliant because we are losing the best attacking right back in the world

    If Trent goes, I think we need a world class right back more than we need to buy an expensive left back. I'd trust Robertson to have a good season with a full summer off. I dont think Kerkez is an upgrade on good Robertson.

    He does seem to be very clear in his thinking and communicating. As you say, it really cuts through stuff. I guess we'll have a bad run at some point and it will be interesting to see how he handles it
