You can tell he's got phenomenal skill, but he's put in a load of very underwhelming performances, and looked far too weak on too many occasions. I think there's a load of mitigating factors here - the entire team has played like crap (with no identity and aimless tactics), and particularly in our wide positions, we've had nothing that could help him play to his strengths. But I'd say the most damning thing is that had Harvey Elliott been given the amount of time/games Wirtz has, he'd have done a load more, but we'd probably still be saying we can get someone much better. I still think Wirtz will come good - but we might need a new manager for that to happen.
