  14. Do we need to start a new topic with the original title restored to its glory then?

  18. There's no way chelsea would have sold him to us for £5 mill. They cynic in me says that by "strengthening" a team like Newcastle on the cheap, Chelsea believe that Newcastle become more capable of taking points off their key rivals whilst not damaging themselves too much. I would not put that beyond the realms of possibile thinking at Chav HQ.

  20. As the fixtures stand now, the final run in for the "percieved" top 4 are (final fixture last): Us: Middlesbrough h Man City a Wigan h Portsmouth a Fulham a Charlton h Chavs: West Ham a Man Utd h Newcatle a Bolton h Arsenal a Everton h Mancs: Sheff Utd h Chelsea a Middlesbrough h Everton a Man City a West ham h Arses: Newcastle a Bolton h Tottenham a Fulham h Chelsea h Portsmouth a Interesting reading that I thought. If we can keep ourselves in the mix at the end of March, I think our run in is arguably the most favourable of that lot and if we consider Chelsea our biggest threat, certainly better than theirs. Arsenal's is a tough one too. Bar the Chelsea game, the Mancs don't seem to have too much to fear. I gotta feelin'
  21. Exactly right mate. Cowardly k****ead Chavs rather than old school hooligans. Which, I suspect, is why the German authorities pretty much left them be. Still toe-rags and shameful, but by comparison to yesteryear, pretty lightweight. Which proves our authorities have a "decent" grasp on the real hardcore, which is good.
  22. I'd have to say Stan Collymore. The ability to be the best centre forward we (and England) had EVER had and pissed it all away. As much as he was brilliant, he pissed me off for that reason.

  24. Has it occurred to you that Rafa was playing it that way to see if he felt Duff was the right man and character? There's no doubt that IF Rafa would have really wanted him and Chelsea would have played ball with us (highly unlikely) then we'd have him. Not in the slightest bit bothered we haven't.
