Don't think so. Footy is a growing sport in N. America and the league is still relatively new. Nearly all the european leagues are fairly well esthablished. The CL is already a super league anyway.

If he scored 10-15 a season from midfield and was a tough tackler I could put up with whatever s*** celebration he fancied.

Please lets not play Carra in midfield again. He did ok last night, but he clearly is not used to playing in there, it all looks so laboured for him, he is a centre half play him there or don't play him at all.

But surely playing a centre half in midfield is daft? I just don't see the point. We saw Carra play centre mid for England and everyone called Sven a clown as it wasn't Carra's position. Guthrie plays in midfield what the hell is the point in the reserves if they're not in reserve when you need them? And I agree we need to win and I think we will but on the flip side we are also playing a side that has lost their last 5 away games in all comps and after Saturday were we looked pedrestian we need a bit of urgency and drive in midfield.

What is the point in having young lads playing in the reserves and then when we're down to the absolute bare bones in midfield we play a centre half there. We're at home to one of the teams that will finish mid table can we not just give Guthrie or A N Other a run out?

We had three behind us who did nothing but slag off Pennant, Gonzales and Zenden all night and I mean all night - seriously I wouldn't bother coming to the match if it caused me that much trouble. Then we had the old classic old scouse fella behind them, dear god there is always one with in hearing distance isn't there? Not like this in my day, Pennant is s***, Gerrard is s*** the whole team is s***, Shanks wouldn't of stood for this, on and on he went all night.
