    I see where you're coming from,but I don't think you get championship winning sides where players don't give 100%,I reckon pretty much everybody does. He was a useful squad player,in that I agree,but people got waaay carried away with how good he was.He was lucky to play in such an great team,in my opinion. The same goes for Neville.

    Tony Adams is precisely the type of player you build a championship winning side upon. Ray Parlour is the chap on the bench. That said,"It's only Ray Parlour".

    I beg to differ Murph,he was decent for about a season when at the a***,and everybody thought he was a world beater.If you didn't look decent in that side,you never would!

    I'd almost forgotten how schit Ray Parlour was,he scored a few decent goals when he was at the a***,and everybody was saying he was a world-beater.

    Fazakerley. If we really wanted to,I'd bet we could sell Alonso,Pepe,Garcia,Momo,etc. etc. all for profits,not to mention the likes of Carra and Gerrard. It'd be nice not to make such huge losses on players like Cisse and to a lesser extent Morientes,but hopefully we've learnt from our mistakes.I think,and hope,that Rafa will invest more wisely than the club has before.

    Why the hell play Mutu wide left? Surely they had other options to play there? Also, why did Mutu insist on trying to beat Eboue on the outside,for pace and strength? After the first,second and third times,it was clear he was going nowhere.
