  1. Twas what i thought, cheers. I'll probably not make it as far as Hammersmith, so it'll probably be the usual 'outside the ground' job. I'll be wearing my Tom Hicks mask...
  2. Your sense of humour is your major refining quality How much money do i need to give you BTW? I wanna make sure i have enough with me beforehand, so i dont mess you around...i've done enough of that in the past
  3. League games are different though, arent they? Because they're only sold to STH anyway 90% of the time. So as a FCH, if i DID get some away league loyalty recorded on my FC, it wouldnt count for anything because they dont have a selling criteria for FCH with 'x' away games on their FC. That's fair enough really, because it's bad enough trying to supply 30k STHs with 3k away tickets, so the STH have every right to get their hands on these over FCHs. I feel differently about the CL though, because away loyalty points invariably decide who gets tickets for finals and as a FCH without any away CL loyalty, it's nigh on impossible to get any. Vicious circle. Same for domestic cups too. I'm more fortunate there though, because i have loyalty from the last 2-3 seasons recorded on my FC. Best solution is for you to just sell me your ST
  4. This should be under your avatar
  5. Fair enough. I'd love to buy a season ticket, i'd bite their hands, arms and legs off at the chance. So to clarify, if you're a FCH without any previous european away loyalty, your chances of accumulating any are more or less slim-to-none. I'll keep an eye out next season to see if there's an opportunity.
  6. No, i take that on board. I just mean, if you're trying to get onto the 'CL away games ladder', the options are limited at best, if not completely non-existent.
  7. If it goes to FC5, i'll be sorted. Question though - applications have to be made by 23rd April, so as a FCH with 5 loyalty points, am i meant to still apply and hope for the best? Or am i not meant to, as they say 'dont apply unless you meet the criteria' ? Obviously i'd be a numpty not to apply, regardless of the criteria, but according to the 'black and white' of it all, the club only want people to apply if they meet the criteria (eg 6 loyalty points, not including Chelsea)... On another point, the CL qualifier SHOULD count, it takes more 'loyalty' to attend a nothing game against east european part timers than anything else.
  8. After the Athens debacle, i kept an eye out on selling details for the away CL group games and as far as i remember, they WERE sold based on loyalty for CL away games from last season.
  9. If they go to all STH (regardless of CL loyalty) at the expense of FCH WITH CL loyalty, that'd be a pisstake.
  10. I'm (catuiously) retaining some hope for this to happen.
  11. I'm not sobbing about it, just a bit disappointed. As a FCH, i hardly get the chance to buy away tickets, and obviously for cup finals, we're put at the back of the queue (if we even get in the queue at all) and it's somewhat frustrating, but oh well.
  12. "We had a late kick-off at Villa Park that day and when we saw who Benitez had picked, we were struggling to even think who they were. " If he struggles to know who most of them are, then he isnt knowledgable enough to manage a Premier League club anyway...bitter twunt.
  13. That thought did cross my mind, in fairness. We've allegedly got 4k more tickets than we got for Athens, and with the cost involved, i wonder at what stage of the criteria our allocation would all sell out. As a fancard holder with 5 credits (that count), i've literally got zero chance of getting one through the club...is that right?
  14. Poor excuse, the chelsea game is sold out so they know who has purchased and which fancards the game would be recorded on.
  15. RIP YNWA to the victims & their loved ones
  16. It's utterly pathetic and in keeping with the novice-like way the FA deal with most things. The silver lining though, is that in terms of our league progress and 4th place, Mascherano's suspension will have little or no bearing on our fortunes as we've all but got 4th place tied up. Likewise, it's kept him fresh for the CL games. So luckily, no real harm done, but that's no thanks to the FA and their incompetence.
  17. Mascherano was made a scapegoat in light of the Ashley Cole/Mike Riley debacle - that much is obvious. No chance of any kind of consistency being shown. They made an example of Mascherano and now they'll consider the matter dealt with and closed.

    4th place

I doubt we'll go into the Spurs game needing anything, but given their season ended in February, if we do need something at WHL, we'll surely get it.
  19. A clean sheet victory in the first leg will be crucial IMO. We struggle to score down there, so we're looking at needing something like a 2-0 in the 1st leg, in order to make the 2nd game fairly comfortable (as comfortable as a CL semi final could be). 1-0 would be cardiac arrest stuff...but i'd take it.

    4th place

I also agree that 4th place is now done and dusted. Everton have run out of gas, they only just beat Derby at Woodison & they'll realistically need a minimum of 3 wins out of their last 4 games. Cant see it.
  21. What a superb signing he would be. Unfortunately, it probably wont happen though.
  22. Isnt Aurelio on one too?
  23. The Beckham figure alone proves that document is inaccurate.
  24. Fair play. I'd personally back rafa to get his head right and utilise him well. Could be wrong though. I agree with the majority opinion that we'd never sign him, mind.
