Can't believe there are doom and gloom merchants after a win at one of the toughest grounds . We were solid at the back and Gomez looked great. Benteke did not get much service but he was still a menace . We dominated the 2nd half and could have scored a couple from the opportunities carved by coutinho. The winner was majestic.. Happy days

lovren is slow and physically weak from what can be seen in his performance last season. At Southampton he had Schneiderlen and Fonte helping him out which is not the case here

I was just seeing Bentekes stats for villa and just by looking at those we should bite the bullet. His exploits are insane for a team which rarely scores . He's scored 42 goals of the 117 league goals Villa has scored in the last 3 seasons. Furthermore, he missed few games due to injury

I think if we sign him, we will love Firmino more ( fingers crossed we sign him) if we can sign a quick intelligent forward who will make full use of killer through balls . The signing would be disaster if we had Balotelli or Benteke type forwards leading our line.

Kewell on the right playing out of position for the first 6 months was amazing. injury screwed him .. Milner is ok I guess but Kewell had a lot more talent

Rafa is better than Brendan period. However, there are better candidates in my opinion than him available. He is going to the circus anyway and I hope he is a success .

I think the problem with us as fans is that we are always in out or in camp for a manager not doing well. If there is a possibility of a better person available we should get him regardless of what the current one is doing. Last season we almost won the title but lost it because of real bad luck and manager naivety chasing a game we could afford to draw

The man United game f***ed our season up. The Gerrard tackle ended the hope we had of getting atleast a draw. Rodgers may go but last season was the best we have had since our title win. The season is a write off with everything going wrong. We will be alright next season and probably win the title
