    Let's hope we have our cl place sorted before the last day of the season! it would be a tough call - imagine an Everton win putting them down or a Newc win required to keep Everton out of the CL

    I think the bottom two will stay the same - therefore they are 1 of 7 teams (up to Boro in 12th ATM but with a game in hand) trying to avoid the drop. If brum & Notlob where to somehow win their game in hand each - newc would be 17th looking at the fixtures posted above - it's hard to see where they will pick up any points. Sadly my Gordie mate appears to have stopped coming in the pub on Friday nights - pressure of work(!) - and nothing to do with all the bets he made in August that Newc would finish in CL places (!)
