  1. Rafa did want money and he would have got it had Cissé not broken his leg. In an attempt to gain money he has sent Cissé to Marseille on loan. I can't think of another way to solve this Cissé 'problem' ... ? How many games did Bellamy start compared to Cissé? I reckon Blackburn built their play more around Bellamy than we did with Cissé? But let Bellamy show he merits Cisse's place - that would be great! I really do hope he score loads, just as I hoped Cissé would and all of our current strikers will!
  2. Why not? Cissé is a great goal scorer, his goal scoring record is a solid proof. Of course he will score plenty of goals in Ligue 1, as long as he doesn't break his leg again or gets another horrific injury. If Marseille can't afford £8m (which I suspect they can't ) then other clubs will be in for him. A striker is, at the end of the day, measured on goals scored, not great runs (no offence to Bellamy, I think he'll turn out to be a good buy), and Cissé sure knows how to score goals.
  3. We might get £8m, IF Cissé manages to find his form in the Ligue 1 at Marseille. He wouldn't have got many chances at Liverpool, so naturally we wouldn't be able to sell him. Therefore the loan deal with Marseille.
  4. Rafa needed money. I also seem to recall that Rafa said some time ago that Cissé could come back and play for Liverpool. It might have been prior to the loan deal with Marseille. I don't think Rafa doesn't rate him he just prefers players who play more of a team game and work all-together as a team. Regardless, you can't ignore Cissé's goals. He scored (and will score) a lot...
  5. Rafa also makes mistakes, you know. Just because he prefers one player to another doesn't mean it's the right decision. I personally liked Cissé, even before he was at Liverpool, but I reckon he's history at Liverpool. We'll miss his goals but Kuyt is the answer

  7. Gary Speed also became the second player to have scored in every PL season, ain't that right?
  8. I blame Matt Le Tissier. So far he's predicted three away defeats fur us He hasn't yet managed to get the score right though
  9. We're 'allowed' to lose against the likes of Bolton and Toffifee but then we'll just have to beat Manure, Ar$e and Chel$ki (at home). As long as we don't drop too many points we'll be fine, as JonShar said. We just need for Manure to drop some points too. Ar$e will drop against 'lower' teams (even at home) and Chel$ki don't look as strong as last year with Sheva struggling and Moanrinho keeps selecting him. Let Manure drop points against the likes of Reading more often But ..... we need to sort the f|_|ck out re. our away form. Abysmal!

  13. I spent 15 minutes arguing with a Manc and a Geordie wether is was a great goal or not. Both said it was easy without a keeper and I kept saying it was a great goal with Harper being a bit guilty. Damn I hate arguing with Mancs and Geordies. I'm also drunk. But what a GOAL from Xabi!!! Btw... The Geordie and the Manc are to score from the half way line in an empty goal on saturday. Just a little bet .... no way they're gonna make it!
  14. WTF! Just read Agger's middle name is MUNTHE. Bet he's a snobbish f3cker then (Munthe + Simonsen). http://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Agger
  15. Well, I need to learn how to speak Scouse - even tho' I should of learnt it by now, me thinks The German part ... well,.... Didi German Scouse?
  16. I only got 8-1 on Scandicbookmakers.com Any ideas regarding our formation? We killed them at St. James' last season playing the 3-5-2/5-3-2 (depends on the eyes I guess) with two wing backs. Warnock had a blinder if I remember correctly. So let's bring on the formations then Reina Finnan Agger Hyypiä Carra Warnock Gerrard Xabi Sissoko Kuyt/Fowler Bellamy/Crouch
  17. I get the impression that the books doesn't offer much new (useful) info? Would like to read it but my budget is v. limited atm so I'm not sure if I should buy it? I haven't even finished Fowler's book yet
  18. You'll jinx just by asking - tomorrow he'll do a 'Gravesen' !!! Poor Morten Olsen... (that cvnt!)
  19. You're describing Van Diver? A striker needs to be at the right place at the right time, and a striker needs to create some luck, so to say. He's done very well - and I ain't happy about it either! Credit where credit's due though...
  20. If our 'luck' is to continue Harper will be having a blinder on Wed and their new Nigerian oldie Martins will score a fluke goal. But I reckon we'll win comfortably
  21. Agreed. Agger my MOM (Man Of the Match, not my mom ). He really should be ahead of Hyypiä if he continues playing like he's done so far!
  22. Temper temper.
  23. Same thing happened recently in Denmark. Rasmus Green collapsed on the training ground. Dead right away. He left behind a girl friend and a young child. Fortunately the media in Denmark made a big deal out of it and Green's family received great support. Tragic when things like that happen R.I.P.
  24. FY FOR SATAN!!! As you say in Danish. Horrible injury!
  25. Stupid thing to say. A mistakes is a mistake. Sometimes you aren't punished and sometimes the cost of a mistake is a goal. You can't say Reina didn't make mistakes against West Ham x2 and Everton today. He made mistakes which of course isn't good enough. Every keeper makes mistakes and too many mistakes should bench the player, of course! Some people defend Reina like was he flawless. He isn't. I like him, but he isn't undroppable.
