Unless we somehow manage to get hold of two good strikers to replace Cissé, then I can't see this as a good deal. His rehabilitation went very well indeed with our doctors, so why send him back to France, when we could do with him in the squad? At least Marseille should pay his wages and 'promise' to buy him at the end of the season. Regardless of how many fans who think Cissé's s***, he did score almost 20 goals this season. Decent amount, and could he repeat it then he should stay.

We have improved more as a team than Pongolle and Le Tallec have on their own, so they aren't good enough to be playing @ Liverpool atm and we can't afford having them in the team. Am I right? I don't mean to disrespect them or anything, I have always hoped for the best, but they seem unlikely to make the grade here. As with Morientes, Cissé and many more, we are not in a position to give many second chances and extended runs in the team if the players don't perfom consistently at the needed level. But .... COME ON DENMARK!

We'll at least get rid of one, I'm confident of that. Personally I reckon Morientes, Cisse and maybe Pongolle will be leaving. Nando is still hot (or at least medium warm) in Spain, Cisse could move back to France (Marseille), and Pongolle will leave on loan as a minimum.
