  1. Where do you get that I'm saying largely not because of the owners? They're the boys at the top of the tree, they're ultimately at fault for everything. And give over with this after thought b******s, it's been the crux of my point for as long as I can remember - clearly they've made choices that have ended up not working out, clearly they think they're a bit smarter than they really are when it comes to football, and clearly the blueprint that brought them success in baseball hasn't worked for football - but the idea that they're s***, they're c****, they don't give a f*** because they don't come to matches, is just daft. They're businessmen. We're a business to them. The idea that they want us to be mid-table, they don't care about us winning, blah blah f***ing blah is ridiculous though. In the 13 years that they've owned that "rounders" team they've won the World Series 3 times - no other team has won more than that in that time. The idea that they don't want a team that wins is laughable. Have they made the right decisions so far to make that happen? Of course they haven't, cause it hasn't happened yet.
  2. Klopp isn't taking six months off.
  3. Right, because there are only two options and they're both extreme opposites. Grow up. Clearly we're in trouble. We're certainly not on the verge of self-destructing though. I don't disagree, which is why the next month is crucial.
  4. A whole lot of exaggeration going on here. We've been awful this season, no doubt about it. But it's not because the players are playing to their best, we've got the right formation, and we're just not good enough - the players have been underperforming a massive amount. I love Brendan for last season, but the big question mark against him has always been how he'll respond to the pressure when it becomes as intense as it does at a club like Liverpool - he's buckled, he made a partial recovery that then failed, and now he looks like he's about to be crushed under the weight of the pressure. We clearly need a real football man involved in the decision making at the top level, and it looks like we may need a new manager who can bring in some freshness - that's it. We've spent tons of money on transfers and wages over the past few years, and it's been spent poorly - those 2 people coming in would help fix that. This isn't the end of the world. Although by the end of the summer it could be.
  5. Don't feed Cam right now Jiggy. Just don't.
  6. Also if this is true, I'll eat my dog.
  7. What other absolutely pointless questions do you want them to waste their time on in the end of season review? Do sharks know their fins are sticking out of the water, or would they be embarrassed to find out? Why is it OK for monkeys to w*** in public but not for humans?
  8. This is silly. Might be ace for some fans, but how do you think other players that we'll potentially sign view it?
  9. Like Shankly? It took someone like Shankly to make us the force we became. It's going to take that again.
  10. Re: Beardsley The first line of his Wiki page says: "Peter Andrew Beardsley MBE (born 18 January 1961[1]) is an English former footballer who played between 1979 and 1999. In 1987, he set a record transfer fee in the English game" And also here: http://www.liverpoolfc.com/history/past-players/peter-beardsley "Kenny Dalglish broke what was then the British transfer record by paying Newcastle £1.9m for Beardsley's services in July 1987."
  11. This is where I am too. Don't get any real anger towards him, but he's been frustrating this year for sure.

  13. And really, if the league table was invisible and we had no idea where we were in the league, we'd still be disappointed in the season. We've been poor for long periods, other than a good spell in the middle. Even taking into account the lack of strikers, we've had no fight in so many matches, we've just whimpered along for much of the season.
  14. Carragher didn't like him either.

  21. It didn't get the job done because Liverpool isn't as big a pull as we all want us to be. And even with whatever wage structure is in place - we spend money terribly. There are surely better options out there than Lallana, Balotelli, Lovren for around the same cost.
  22. Honestly, what makes you think I give any priority to 'repeated requests' by you? As I said, right you are.
