  1. Didn't look good, I don't think he was faking.
  2. He scores, 2-1 Scotland 14 mins left, come on Iceland.
  3. Scotland are 2-0 up away at Iceland although they are now down to 10 men and Iceland have a pen. Gudjohson to take
  4. He's f***ing useless in any formation.
  5. How typical of you to criticise our manager but of course not one from a different team.
  6. What a stupid reply.
  7. Despite the fact he said in the original interview he also said foreign players had been good for the game, clearly a comment of a rascist, well only if you are a walking case of PCGM.
  8. The only reason I could see would be that his mate Dennis Wise is at Newcastle but he would need to be absolutely barmy. Imagine the meltdown by the spurs fans if Ramos did resign it would be hilarious.
  9. Don't hover, press it man.
  10. You are going so OTT on this true, trying to link Carras comments to Hitler and the BNP is a massive overreaction. Read his comments again, I believe his comments are those coming from a rascist or xenophobic point of view but expressing disappointment at the current situation and to be fair he is entitled to his opinion. He isn't asking for foreigners to go home and that they are bad horrible people which the BNP does, he is just giving an opinion, not one I agree with but that doesn't make him a rascist or xenophobic. I said it before but people are allowed different opinions on these things without it making them a rascist or xenophobic. You have missed the mark on this one but you are not alone I'm afraid.
  11. Don't see how as he isn't showing fear or hatred of foreigners just expressing an opinion which he is entitled to do. If you say his opinion is xenophobic then so is anybody who says there are too many foreigners in football and it is too easy for foreigners to get a job. Which clearly isn't the case, I don't actually agree with his views on the job comment but that doesn't make him a rascist or xenophobic.
  12. Not expecting him to come to our rescuse out wide seeing as he's our goal keeper!!
  13. Its not really rascism or xenophobia, at no point does he slag foreigners off or saying they should all go home, which a rascist would. I can sometimes be a bit PC or whatever you want to call it and can assure you I would be up in arms if I thought he was being rascist but I actually think calling it rascism etc is being oversensitive and looking for things that aren't there.
  14. But the questions have been answered on the SOS website under FAQ's and why should they have to spend time, which could be better spent on more seruious issues, updating their website with figures whcih will only lead to further muck raking about how much they've spent on stationary etc. I'm not being funny but why should non members be shown any form of financial statement. I agree some record of the public meetings should be published on their website and more detailed minutes avaialble to members upon request. Obviously not expecting those from saturday to be ready yet. I'm not going to keep harping on about this, if people want to play silly b*ggers about when finances should be published, daily weekly, monthly and what's behind the reluctance (apart from standard practice) of SOS publishing financial statements every so often, then its up to them.
  15. Normally I would agree with that but its nnot that uncommon for players to take a season to settle in, certainly younger ones. We haven't seen enough of him this season to be able to judge how he is progressing. Although I wouldn't be for him starting upfront on Saturday.
  16. Why does SOS need to? It will publish it end of year accounts for the AGM, similar organisations don't publish monthly accounts, what the money is going towards is listed on the FAQ section of their website. Knowing some posters, if some form of accounts were published, there would a load of oh why have they sepnt x on this and y on that instead of on something else. If you don't think there is anything dodgy going on why this absolute need to see figures, as I've said in my experience working for a trade union they only publish their accounts once a year. If any member or non member asked what the money was spent on, they were told it would go towards, organisation of the union, representing members etc. In the recruitment classes I ran no-one asked for a % breakdown how much went towards what, to say if SOS did it would aid recruitment is a red herring. I will say it again what SOS are doing regarding not publishing the accounts other than annually is standard practie for this typew of organisation and a perfectly acceptable one. I am getting more and more convinced that posters are raising this issue out of pure bl00dymindness or as a poor excuse to not join SOS, if people don't want to join then don't, but at least be honest about why.
  17. I think it probably hit the correct tone, the way some of the questions around finances were being phrased and the tone of some posts. I just think sometimes Ant gets stick unfairly, this being one of them. Although I think he does need to tone down some of his replies, he is a teenager and I would hate to see the passion he has for the club and SOS to be watered down or knocked out of him by continual criticism.
  18. Lighten up will you, everyone could see it was a joke, where's your sense of humour?
  19. Spot on that Kev.
  20. Or simply refer them to the FAQ's which tells you what the money goes towards, if you are a member then you will have access to the end of year accoun ts when they are produced. You are being a bit pedantic to be honest.
  21. Why would they, similar organisations don't tend to and I really don't see why SOS should be any different, you either support the aims or you don't. I've spent years recruiting new members into the union I'm a member of and when I've been asked what does the fees gone to and I've given a similar answer to the one in the SOS FAq's listed in a post above, not one single person has said "oh could you me a breakdown in % terms for each actrivity" Its being overly pedantic to ask SOS do so.
  22. Financially they are operating in the same way most similar organisations work. Having been a branch officer and a committee member of a trade union for years they operate in a very similar way. The monthly financial statements are seen by the branch officers and committee members who can raise any queries etc and also sign them off each month. The accounts are published annually to the members in time for the AGM. Just the same as SOS are doing, it is standard practice as the officers and committee will have responsibility for the finances. There is nothing suspicious about the way SOS are operating financially, infact if I was answering the question of how is my £10 being spent? I would say its going towards the running of SOS and achieving the published aims of SOS, if you were a member of a union or looking to join that is the type of answer you would get. SOS have done absolutely nothing wrong by not giving out interim accounts, I have been critical about a few actions SOS have taken but this certainly isn't one of them and as a member I wouldn't want them to have to waste their time dealing with such enquiries.
