A bit of wishful thinking mostly Journo asked Rafa if there was anything to the speculation and after laughing at the journo's pronunciation of "Aguero" he smiled and said "He's a good player, but we're not thinking about now players (sic)" Journo says: "Is he somebody you've looked at?" Rafa: "We know him, he's a good player, one of the best players in Argentina, but in this moment (his emphasis, not mine) we are thinking about West Brom, you know"

If they are to sign him it'll mean changing the way they play the game. They are set up to play with a strong man holding up the ball and bringing the midfielders and wingers into play. That's not Shevchenko's forté, he's an improved version of Crespo and they're not as good with Crespo in the team.
