Sounds to me like something maybe happening, and i am cynic at the best of times...its not really an out and out denial imo.

Personally, I am excited about the transfer...he looks a good player, has a good eye for goal and can pick out a pass...its just that with his injury record I cant get away from the feeling that he just wont play enough to justify the tag or fulfil that potential. I hope i am wrong! But i guess we wont know for a while yet...

I was watching it on ESPN too, couldnt believe the amount of crap that Rafa was getting from McMahon in particular. Honestly i thought Sky were bad enough...but an ex red like him should have some respect. t***.

I just watched the game (am in NZ atm) and yeah i agree, i saw that and was impressed...he played well i thought. He could have done better at times and is guilty of shocking passes but you can just see the potential he has. He can only get better imo, v good player in the making.

Me too, was impressed. Good debut...especially when you consider who were playing. Did well, some good touches, good runs and good contribution all round.

You should have heard the t***s on ESPN, omg...was cringe worthy....

True - but this is the first time they have come out (in the 2nd installment of DIC trying to buy us) and commented on the talks etc. I dont think they would be giving ultimatums unless they were on the verge of walking away. However, there is another school of thought (and the one i wish i could believe!) is that its all being orchestrated to save face for Hicks after all his denials re selling up.

I wish i could be as optimistic, I think DIC are just trying to show everyone that they tried, and there walking away not due to a lack of commitment to buying LFC but due to Hicks unrealistic demands.

Thats what i cant understand either - i thought he looked pretty good for a backup.
