I agree, its contentious but i think the competition has little value nowadays and I would rather us not be in it. The main negative is that it would have been a good opportunity to play alot of the kids/squad players

To be fair - he is questioning the validity of someone elses tweet. There was a tweet that stated we had agreed personal terms with Young (90k per week) - he was questioning how someone would know and if so why would they broadcast it all over t'web.

Yes it becomes one dimensional rubbish really - to me it was no surprise that we have been looking alot more fluid with him out. We knock it around more and link up better.

The only angle I can think of (and its a flaky one at that) is to emphasise that Young has chosen us over Manu - take some of the media love in away from them and #19.
