What your saying makes perfect sense, but why sign him in the first place? Did we think he could adapt? It definitely had the looks of a panic buy at the time but I thought there may have been a plan of some kind.

I take it the rumours you heard re him being sold in Jan are getting stronger? TBH i think its clear, Bellamy was out yesterday and he still didnt get in the team, he seems to be the sub of last resort atm...chuck him on for a few mins and see if he can do anything. I think the reason he is getting limited playing time is to ensure he doesnt get injured before Jan.

He did that a couple of times today and I agree its v annoying, he tries to draw the foul but usually ends up falling over and it leaves us exposed. We have conceded a couple of times this season following the wannabe Didi crumple!

I am not his biggest fan but i thought he was good today - some good passes and showed good composure when under pressure.

Yep, the fact that he didnt start today despite Bellamy not being available says it all imo - his days are numbered. I hope we manage to get someone decent in Jan.

He was non existant in the first half, did better in the second but was guilty of poor finishing. He should have done better on a number of occasions especially in the dying minutes when he blasted over.

I also thought that Downing was alot better in the 2nd half, though Henderson didnt do much again. I think he is more suited to coming off the bench atm, providing good movement and passing against tiring sides.There is alot to be said for keeping it simple but not offering anything is something else altogether.
