  1. Based on how we're using Kerkez, RAN would have been a much better option. We were linked to him too, points to disconnects between Slot and Hughes, unless they thought they could fundamentally change the way he plays.
  2. Yep, for that to happen they have to include him in the squad for Brighton imo.
  3. As has been said, it's a complete mess. This is as a result of them failing to act on Slot, they can't be seen to remove him post the Mo interview as it sets the wrong precedent internally and externally. But it also seems to acknowledge that there are wider issues, they know that Slots time is coming to an end. Granted, that last part is how I (as someone in the Slot out camp) am interpreting the wording being used.
  4. Totting up points perhaps? That's what I thought anyways.
  5. That's exactly what the club's PR team briefed to their usual mouthpieces, what a pathetic state of affairs. This type of stuff doesn't come out in a happy, harmonious squad. There are always issues, but this is getting ridiculous. It seems we're so far away from the environment that Jurgen worked so hard to create, it's sad.
  6. That seems a tad harsh on Virg.....
  7. The LFC PR machine is in full flow now, no chance they haven't planned out the next week at a minimum. The CL and Brighton games have been mentioned in every article, he won't be in either squad. Beyond that...they'll let Afcon do the work for them.
  8. There's an article from Joyce too, seems Hughes and Edwards have been on the phone (again).
  9. Yep, that would have been in line with the "out of form" narrative and would have probably helped smooth the situation somewhat. Instead, Slot saw that we were 2-0 up and wanted to assert maximum dominance, idiot. Just confirms that his man-management skills are rubbish.
  10. Exactly, Slot has played a very active part in this, it's like something out of the Rodgers playbook. The most annoying thing about the situation is that it allows the club to shift the narrative and focus away from the terrible results and performances.
  11. We used to be referred to as the red arrows...some of the goals we scored, the movement, passing and intensity. Now it's so slow predictable rubbish with an over reliance on our players to create something from nothing.
  12. As has been the way the majority of the season
  13. We play into our oppositions hands almost every game, our build up is so slow we give them ample time to get back into the low block. Over commit, then get exposed on the break.
  14. It's like f***ing groundhog day with Slot. Mad subs oncoming in 5 mins.
  15. It's just so f***ing one paced, move the ball faster.
  16. I think with it being in this thread it's the latter.
  17. As much as I'm not a fan of John Mackenzie (he's not the only one who features thankfully), this is a good overview and highlights the tactical & personnel issues.
  18. What's worse is that the 10 was probably to replace Dom, who has been out best player this season. He was also a large part of what made our midfield effective last season. It's obvious to all of us, why couldn't Slot see it? Was he expecting Flo to offer similar output, he lacks the physicality.
  19. Plus as bas been discussed at length, the genuine connection he had with them, it was always his boys, his man management skills were on a different planet. Of course it frayed slightly towards the end but I expect they don't have anywhere near as strong a connection with Arne. It doesn't appear to be his management style, I might be wrong of course.
  20. Thanks for sharing. That last part sounds like he's lost the players, if so, he's done.
  21. We seem to have perfected that particular tactic! Have reached levels never seen before!
