That was strange, right at the end...he stops himself from saying "who cares" and then says "who knows". He's clearly annoyed at being called out, quite ironic really, though he thinks Mo was being calculated, just like Mo his little segment was also very emotionally charged.

Agree. But he also needs to help resolve the situation, he needs to manage the squad effectively, and that requires him to build and maintain relationships.

I know there has been lots of discussion re the impact of losing Jota in the summer. What if the environment that Slot has created has made something that is already so difficult to deal with even more challenging? There are question marks regarding Slot and the players, his man-management skills, and his lack of trust in large parts of the squad, regardless of form, there doesn't appear to be a genuine connection. It feels so different from what we had under Jurgen. That transition itself must have been hard, and I think we all expected there to be more issues initially, but when you factor in the tragic events of the summer, it will stress any environment, and the one Slots has been found wanting.

Yep, they're trying to shift the focus, large parts of the supporter base have already decided he's done, and if he was seen to own this decision, it could get really toxic.

We have a different group entirely, from what I can gather he's lost the dressing room because he's pushing and training them harder than what they're used to.
