A lot of it's down to setup, as a result of progressing the ball so slowly we have to over commit when attacking (because we give the opposition ample time to get into a low block). We lose the ball and their running at our defence, it's Rodgers bad in transition imo.

I think he'll still be in situ for the weekend or a bit longer, but only because it might take a little while to select and negotiate with the potential replacement. Especially as based on availability it might need to be an interim appointment, I'm hoping they want / can convince Jürgen to come back till the summer. I would love him back permanently but too much has changed at the club for that to happen imo.

Yep, same here. If we weren't already sounding out potential replacements it will definitely happen now, expect said discussions will become a bit more formal in the coming days. I thought we looked better after the first 15 mins, but the second half was abysmal. Assume they made some tactical tweaks and we struggled to impose ourselves in anyway. He looked lost and devoid of ideas and I'm sure the players know it too.

Yep, that combined with the huge drop off in form across multiple members of the squad makes me think that this is mostly on Slot.

That nails it, he has created an environment where the squad players know he doesn't value them, their contributions when called upon is on the players but it's still terrible management. His tactical setup seems to require every player to perform to their maximum potential, he should (with the squad he has at his disposal) be able to rotate more.

That's gotta be a major contributor to the current situation, relying on a small number of players is okay if all are in form, but doesn't stack up when you need to play 60+ games a season. He clearly doesn't rate or trust a number of players in the squad and they probably know whatever they do it will make little or no difference. Great managers are adept at extracting performances from the majority of those they have at their disposal. We haven't seen any of that during his tenure, if anything it's quite the opposite.
