Ignore the opportunity for a quick counter, let the opposition get everyone back into their defensive positions, and slowly move upfield, move ball side to side with little or no penetration, over commit in the hope to create an opening, a loose pass or interception now carries significantly more risk, we look to force the play, lose the ball and the opposition are running at our defence or worse in behind and with only our goalkeeper to beat.
