    Crazy to think that two of the best players we've ever had might only have 10 games left in a Liverpool shirt. And that Trent might have played his last game for us if the injury is bad.

    Yea was a mad decision. Even if he offered to take one, Slot should have been ruthless. There was no way he was scoring. Ah well. I woke up really annoyed this morning but had a big long look at the league table over breakfast and now I feel a lot better. Highly recommend it.

    Big job in the summer to find some Slot-approved midfielders who will allow us to rest Grav, Mac and Dom. This is not sustainable.

    Lesson learned for next season is to treat the league stage like dead rubbers. Winning it was nice but ultimately gave us no advantage what so ever in the draw. Villa finished 8th and got Mignolet. Use it to rest key players and keep squad players sharp for the 2nd half of the season.

    We’ve been very aggressive and have forced them into a lot of mistakes that they didn’t make in the 1st leg. Need to make them pay.

    PSG ran out of steam midway through the 2nd half in the first leg. Diaz and Jota to run them ragged for 60 mins before Gakpo and Nunez finish them off.

    According to Reddit, Ornstein did a q&a earlier and when asked about Liverpool signing a striker, said: "Liverpool obviously have multiple options on their radar but the only name I have personally heard of so far is Alexander Isak”

    That save from Alisson in the 2nd half where Dembele tried to curl it and he got his hand to it with the speed of thought to knock it away from the PSG players in the box. Unreal.

    Great timing of that sub. Came on just as PSG were running out of steam and did really well for the goal. Felt like one of the few times one of our forwards won a duel all game.

    Thought Jones was brilliant. Kept finding space where there wasn’t any to relieve pressure and keep possession.

    They are aggressive and have so much pace all over the park. Hopefully they can’t keep this tempo up for 90 mins. A draw would be a great result. Everything will be different at Anfield.
