  1. It'll be 4-1 then. Crespot to get a hattrick and Fat Frank to get a deflected goal.
  2. Heart says yes, head says maybe.
  3. I sense a 4-0 win for Chelsea.
  4. Definately Crouch. I never thought he would play for us, ever. I was also quite surprised that we were able to lure Garcia away from Barca. I thought he was a cracking player and was made up when we signed him.
  5. Does anyone know if Spurs fans have any particular issue with Kewell? Some of the idiots at the pub were calling him a "f***ing w*****" all through the game.
  6. There's plenty of space in out treatment room right now so we could do with Michael to keep the club doctors busy.
  7. Their line up was definately designed to win the battle in midfield. I think our lads coped very well with it. Gerrard and Alonso played a very disciplined game and Sissoko was boss.
  8. He was one of our best players in december and it looks like he's carrying that form well into january. Harry to score against the Mancs.
  9. If it wasn't for Hyypia's head, Riise would have scored the goal of the season from a corner yesterday. What a hit.
  10. What the f*** is going on with that hairdo? Get rid, it's worse than Harry Kewell's.
  11. Prison slang?
  12. I was really impressed with one of our counter attacks in the first half. We turned defence into attack in just a few seconds. I think it was Alonso who won the ball and moments later Gerrard swung in a low cross that Moro almost got to. Kewell and Crouch were also in there. They were up there faster than Beckham for an England goal celebration.
  13. Did Stalteri make contact or did Kewell fall over his own legs? I couldn't quite make it out from where I was sitting (behind some tall bloke in the pub ). Stalteri didn't seem to kick up much of a fuss about it though.
  14. Some Spurs fan behind me kept yelling "f*** off Kewell you w*****" every time Harry was on the screen. It was f***ing sweet when he nailed that volley. Another good performance from him today and he finally got his goal. It's been long overdue.
  15. 14 km according to someone... Can't remember who though.
  16. Why is there a thread about a City player in the Liverpool forum? Absolutely loved that goal from Robbie today. And the five fingers up was just phenomenal. Made a few lovely flicks after he came on.
  17. Today was one of his best performances so far for us. He was everywhere and even pulled off a few tricks as well. His tecnique to win a corner near the end was terrific.

  22. Didn't someone (Elisha?) say that we were looking for a club to take Carson on loan?
  23. He's out injured now right? I guess they'll be forced to play him when Yobo goes to the African Nations Cup... I don't get the whole tempo issue either, but after his first reserve game for Everton he complained about it in the Danish papers. He seem genuinely shocked. He said it would take some time to get used to the furious tempo. He said the big difference from Italy is that in Italy the strikers never put pressure on the centre backs whereas in England they constantly chase the ball. In Italy he had time on the ball and could think before passing. There's not time to do that in England so you're often forced to make hasty decisions - something he isn't used to. The injury and lack of first team action probably hasn't helped him settle in either. Hopefully Agger will cope better. Krøldrup's already got the fans on his back after ONE game. I'd be gutted if the same happened to Agger. That's why I'm happy Rafa seems willing to wait for him to be 100% fit before throwing him on - even though I can hardly wait to see him playing for us.
  24. Most of the papers said he had a nightmare and couldn't deal with the high tempo. Hard to argue with. I think a lot of people, including myself, were a bit surprised. He's looked an excellent player in Seria A with Udinese and has also been solid everytime he's played for the national team. He's been out for a while and will need some time to find his feet in a new league but I was still shocked at how much he struggled against Villa. I still back him to come good though and despite the debut I think most people here still believe he'll be a good player for Denmark for many years to come.
