That narrative feels very BARCLEYS. Lots of teams play a low block against us but most of them at least try to nick a goal on the counter. Burnley had no interest in that. BUT BUT they threw themselves in front of some shots and had lots of goal kicks!! Deserved f*** all.

Our wingers constantly cutting inside means it gets really crowded centrally. Even our full backs are narrow and rarely overlap. The one time Ekitike went on the outside, he created a good chance. Need more of that.

Really annoying. I was looking forward to not having to hold my breath every time Konate goes down. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a few other teams push for him in January, but hopefully he’s got his mind set on us.

From the little I’ve seen of him, I think he’ll get goals for them. He’s a big lad who gets on the end of stuff in the box and they are built around set pieces. But he doesn’t look like a very good footballer.

They have a really good team and a strong bench. Their pressing in the first half was good. It's great for everyone else that they refuse to play football. They could be a problem if they did.

If that's last season's Salah, Wirtz probably gets two assists there. He was poor 1st half. I think it's as much to do with the team getting used to him as it is him getting used to the league. It's a new position for us and we haven't figured out how to get him on the ball often enough. And when he did receive it in a good position, Ekitike made the wrong run and closed down space. It'll come and he'll be brilliant.

Brilliant so far this season. He gets a lot of stick on here but he's a key player for us. No one else brings that energy and even with everyone fit, I think Slot will find a way to get him in the team most weeks.

What a win! We improved so much after Jones came on. He really made a difference. Dom and Van Dijk both imperious for the second time in a week. What a goal! Lots to work on but this win was huge. Get the much needed signings done tomorrow and lets win everything.

Twice now Wirtz has found Salah in a great position. Shame. Great play from Dom again.
