Thanks for last season Arne. It was incredible and unforgettable. But off you pop in the summer with our blessing. This is reminding so much now of Houllier’s last year. Reached the best you could and just fallen off a cliff with no way back - just excuses and a continuation of s*** results. The longer it carries in the more toxic it is going to get If he proves me wrong, no one will be happier than I, but enough is enough. I have been bored into submission - mainly by Curtis Jones granted (and Konate just being Konate) but Slot looks like he just doesn’t know what to do anymore

After the summer we had we were all raving about how awesome Hughes and Slot AND the club were with the transfers, and only Guehi slipped though. what all of a sudden has that let if the club turned to s***? As I mentioned before, you can only cut your cloth accordingly. as much as I’m p133ed off with this, and out football in general this season, they get a free pass from me on this

In no world can we pay £300k a week (over 70 million in the contact) for Guehi plus another 20 mil and signing bonuses etc etc. Only a city can do that - that’s nearly VVD wages and he’s not that level, and if we did agree to that, it takes our wage structure to another level. This is double the wages he was reportedly agreeing to in the summer No one can do this, least of all a team with a proven and successful structire It’s a real p133er, but hey ho. We’ll have to find someone on me else that fits our structure The only thing I think that might be acceptable is that we took too long in the summer, but that was down to Glasner I think We certainly can’t accuse the club of not backing the manager after the summer we had
