Excellent reports on Enrique by all accounts, sounds ideal, a defender who is technically very good and doesnt give the ball away, sounds like he will fit nicely into Kenny's style. Loving that list above, would be great. Got a feeling it will be slightly different with the lack of Turan and Martinez (shame) but Enrique, Young and Cahill could well be purchased.

Deffo, good that the scoring monkey is off their back's now and they can really concentrate in forming a lethal partership. Cant think of another striking combo will as many stand out attributes as these two. Heading, dribbling, finishing, movement, power, pace, got the lot.

Dzsudzsak is looking on for anyone who likes him as a player, scored 23 goals from the wing in Holland this season for PSV, not really sure what that says about his overall quality, but he is an exciting player to watch and would provide width, crosses and hopefully goals. That was a scarily strong swaud we had in January 2008 - almost pefect as a squad with strong cover in every position barring maybe a third striker - just a shame a few of positions werent as strong as they could be (thinking the wings mainly - positiions it seems the title winners are always strong in). Seen that link - Hmmmm, always be good if you need a goal, wouldnt be a starter and wouldnt be cheap, cant see it personally but wouldnt necessarily be a bad signing IF we got all our priorities sorted first and there was spare few quid leftover.

Good point about Lucas, I'm sure he has it in his locker as he showed winning the Player of the Season in Brazil deployed as a box to box midfielder. M'Vila has completed the most passes in Ligue 1 this season, could be the one for that defensive role.

Been excellent at left back, dont think anyone can say he hasnt been solid there either. What is good is you know Kenny wont let him get away with being dodgy defensively and he has some excellent pressure on him with Kelly, Flanagan, Robinson and the soon to be arriving new left back (whether that is Enrique or A N other) to keep him on his toes. Certainly dont agree with selling him, very good asset to have and can play either side.

Up and coming young striker, he had 4 caps before they signed him for mexico, didnt mean a carbon copy. Meant Wickham be our up and coming young striker and I think he would be an excellent choice whether he is a Wellbeck / Sturridge etc in your eyes... Would people be happy with M'Vila and Adam with Aquilani sold?

That would be the way to go I think - he hasnt the technical skills of a Stevie, Xabi etc but he has energy and he has he's putting his foot in.

Its a lot different now as I see, we have Carroll AND Suarez now and not just an injury prone Torres, add to this Dirk's re-found taste for goals and excellent performances when asked to play a lone striker (ala Stoke and Chelsea) and we looked much stronger. Wickham by all accounts is looking an excellent prospect, some of his goals this season have been exceptional and he is a unit for a 17 year old lad already, which could be an excellent advantage. He could be our young striker option like the scums Henandez is for them with three high profile strikers ahead anyway I think he ticks all the boxes for a 4th choice striker. Ngog will be gone I reckon, prob Newcastle. Not sure we can just yet. He was marked out of the game against Wigan at the weekend but then Blackpool havent got any other real threats, we have. Not saying I'd sign him, but it isnt up to any of us.

He looks ridiculous playing in the under 18s!! 6ft 5" giant amoung boys he looks, scored two on Saturday too. Morgan looks like a top finisher, 18 in 12 games his current record is too. Sterling looks the absolute business at that level, really excited about him and Suso is oozes class. Really excited about that bunch of players, hopefully they can be the back up to our squad rather than the likes of Konch and Poulsen etc and bed them in gradually. Think that maybe Wickham if we sign him (confident we will) with maybe Ngoo backing him up, your right, he looks like a monster and was playing right wing on sat, looked comical!

Young, up and coming 4th choice striker (Carroll, Suarez, Dirk, Wickham), big, strong, talented 17 year old (and English for the quota) - I'd say thats exactly what we need.

Definitely and throw in the somewhat likely signing of Connor Wickham and what would that leave us? A tough DM A play making type CM A centre back Another winger ?
