I meant Banega being cheaper. He was touted for less than £10m this summer to Inter and Martinez would could upwards of £20m Keeps the ball moving much, much better than Adam, quality player. This is a major problem. Carroll should have one word drilled into this head - GOALS. And everything else should come second. That means him playing on the last man, f***ing off this coming deep s*** and therefore being in the right places when needed all the time, he'd be twice the striker if he did that.

We did get Coates though. I think we need one more, even with four there are arguements against all of them ranging from inexperience, injuries, getting on a bit and a bit dodgy. I'd love to see Agger and Coates going forward, Agger was unlucky with the ribs and thats completely different to his usual s***. That partnerhip has got the lot apart from shoutyness

Me too, he'd fit in well at Barca actually. Ever Banega is a really good shout, as is Javi Martinez, with the latter being a LOT cheaper. Would love us to regain our fluidity from the back end of last season, I didnt know who was playing where and it was so good to watch. Bolton apart, we havent got too near that this season as yet, hope it come backs...

The title thread is a very hard question. I'd be tempted to go: Lucas Adam Bellamy/Kuyt Gerrard Downing Suarez Think ideally we'd have a Modric type instead of Adam - someone more mobile and quick with his passing and movement, but we havent got one. Would have liked to see Aquilani there against the weaker sides at the very least, would have given us more fluid play in the middle but it seems it just wasnt meant to be for him and us.

Should have kept Merieles. Next four signings please: CB CM Top Class Right Winger (Hazard for Cole in the Swap deal of the century) Top Class Striker (depending on Carroll - Higuin when/if we get fourth please)

Really hope Cwates starts, think he could be brilliant, beyond the levels of the Slovak. Gotta be Adam and Lucas in the middle. Gerrard off the bench for the Scot in the last 30 or so. Hoping at least two of Dirk, Bellers, Maxi start for the movement they provide. Think all are better bets that Henderson at the moment at least, although I do think there is a player in there. Downing to stay left, or at least for a large part of the game. And now for the big question, to Carroll or not to Carroll, now that is difficult, personally I'd say no, unless we can get his service and he stays right up top ready to head/smash this new and improved service into the back of the net, a bit like Shearer use to, that would be nice. My first game game of the season so hoping for some Uruguayan magic, I'm looking at you teethy.

We lost against Stoke when we absolutely battered them at one of the hardest grounds in the country to go to and then got beat at another ground we never bloody win at after having two men sent off and without our captain, who coincidently is just about to come back. How anyone can judge a new signing after 5 league games is unbelievable, by that logic Henry should have been sold by Arsenal blah blah blah. Not worried at all and anyway all we need to do is winning the remaining 33 games and we are champions. Lets batter Wolves after last year's Lesbian Horrorshow and cheer the f*** up.
