True Dirk Story: My mate and I played for our local Sunday team in a cup quarter final and it went to pens, I was the only one who missed in the shootout and we got knocked out. My friend was working at Dirk's house the next day and asked Dirk if he would rip me on the phone for missing the penalty the day before and Dirk said to him "I'm not going to, because when I next take a penalty in a penalty shootout out for Liverpool I may miss because of bad karma". Yesterday was his next penalty shootout.

If we get Lucas back, a top attackinh midfielder and striker who have movement and skill we would be awesome. So happy we won that yesterday, had almost forgotten what it feels like!

Sometimes, yesterday was 4-4-2 and he was a right midfielder - which is exactly the point I was making, he isnt one.

Unless you play 4-3-3 with Gerrard playing behind the main striker and Lucas and Henderson behind.

And that Gerrard lad, the scouser in the blue top, he was pretty good.

Him alongside Gerrard or Lucas could work very well, he needs to grow a pair and realise he can be a really good player if he wants to, he has the technique.

He need to have one word drilled into him every single day - 'goals'. He is our number 9, thats his main job, twice yesterday if he had shown some anticipation he would have score, but he just stood still, lacking the strikers instinct.

He is a CM, he is not a right midfielder, he is not an attacking midfielder and if he isnt going to be picked in the centre he shouldn't be be picked full stop as we have players who are better in the other roles, like Bellamy, Gerrard, Maxi, Kuyt etc. It's either him or Adam at the moment for that role and I'd have Adam in there right now.

Guess it would be Henderson, if we are going off the Brighton game, it all seemed very fluid. I wouldnt have Downing in our 1st 11, I play the three terrors up front with Stevie, Lucas and Adam in midfield.

He was fantastic in the Preimer League for Hull though, I thought he was going to be the 1st ever £35m English Striker.

Johnson makes a lot more. Kelly is Mr Consistency. Maybe it is the other way around and you have a blind spot to how good he is cause he is a young player...?
