He's outstanding in games like today when you have to scrap and battle. It's the other games where a more subtle approach is needed that he comes unstuck.

The saddest thing is that this has all happened before - during Houlliers time. I think Gillett and Hicks being such c**** has bought Rafa a bit of leeway with the fans, but I'm not sure how much longer it will last.

McGeady is pure toilet. Seriously, he's got the ability alright, but he's a deeply stupid player who always makes the wrong choice.

Maybe so, but that says an awful lot about some of the dross that have been signed to play for us.

We're just terrible right now. Hanging on desperately for a point against f***ing Stoke is shameful. Aside from the goalmouth scramble that Kyrigakos scored from and Kuyt's injury time header, they didn't create anything. No creativity, belief or skill on display at all.

Fearing the worst here today. The atmosphere around the club and among the fans is so reminiscent of Houllier's final days, it's scary.

And that's that. Sorry Rafa, the team you've spent the last five years building isn't good enough and is going nowhere.

Sack Rafa. Never thought I'd say it, but that's his team out there, his signings and his (non-existant) tactics and the lot of them together will take the club nowhere. The team is sleep-walking through games with no passion, belief or creativity.
