Agreed. I really hope it's not what Dan Roan implied. TBH the reason for the whole thing I think is a bit of a puzzle. There are lots of questions. Why now? Why these people? Who advised it? Who is replacing them? When? Is a single team coming in? etc etc

Pretty much impossible to judge Brukner's work from the outside but he is very highly regarded indeed within sports medicine. He claims to have lowered the rate of injuries at Liverpool. I'm inclined to believe him though it's impossible to know if that's true without detailed access to medical records and stats that none of us have.

Perhaps, we can only speculate as to what really happened. Nevertheless the Summer was clearly KD's calls and have been underwhelming to put it very mildly and the form since Christmas is his responsibility.

It's been totally clear from the start that KD chose the players he wanted to sign. This could not have been made clearer by KD and DC and was done so repeatedly. KD can take the credit for the successes (Suarez, Bellamy, Enrique probably) but he also has to carry the can for Carroll, Adam, Downing, Henderson (whom I still have hope for but should not have been a priority last Summer). Again just as he can take the credit for the League Cup win and, if (and it's a very big if) we win the FA cup he can claim credit for that, but he has to take the blame for our league form since Christmas which has been an absolute disgrace and is clearly grounds for serious concerns about our direction.

This is so true. Loads on here love it when he does it but the journalists like it just as much because it gives them a story and they know they can basically create a story every time they interview him just by winding him up a bit. I think straight, polite and bland would be a better way to go at the moment. At least until we're winning regularly in which case you do what you want.

Adam, Henderson and Downing would be fine if they only counted if they were 1800 minutes apart at the moment.

It's a complete mystery why he doesn't play more. Whatever faults his game (and personally I think he's a very good player) the fact is he scores goals at a rate far higher than any of our midfielders. Given our current problems thats worth quite a lot alone.

He's an interesting one. Absolutely gigantic ego, will rapidly fall out with anyone not 100% committed to doing it his way, will probably have his critics. That said he's innovative tactically, his teams play great stuff and the flipside of his ego is that he has the kind of self-belief and ability that the club needs. Should a vacancy arise I'd have him on a shortlist for with Rafa, Emery, Bielsa, Klopp, Lambert and Rogers. Those latter two are clearly more in the high risk category but both have shown something IMO.
