Maybe Madley was asking if the 4th official had heard anything? Don't know how sensitive the mics are and would probably assume that they are set up to minimise background noise but guess it may be possible for the 4th official to have heard what was said?
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/loan-new-main-stand-not-12711821 It's favourable rates making use of their credit facility but the cash didn't come directly from them it seems.
The VVD situation was that many people who seemed to be getting info from within the club seemed to think it was as good as done - even if it meant waiting until the end of the window - so if Klopp had been given assurances about getting him then there was no need to source an alternative. The only thing with the above is that given we didn't actually get VVD then Klopp must be furious and it's unlikely that situation doesn't leak out in some way.
The TV pool money is very significant for English teams due to the size of the BT deal. In 2015/16 City made 83.9m Euro of which 46.9m was their share of the TV pool. Utd made 38.1m for going out in group stages 19.9m from TV. We made 38m euro from Europa league of which 26.4m euro was from TV pool, though a lot to do with other English teams not progressing very far increasing our share.
No, you're basically getting the insurance sorted, arranging for the next service to be done and then asking a friend to knock on the door to see if they'd sell the car to you and being told to go away.
As a oneoff spree it's doable as it won't be a £100m hit on profits in one go - a £150m gross spend will be spread over incoming players contracts - say 5 years - so from a P&L viewpoint would be an extra £30m each year
"A recent update on Anfield Road End... my understanding is that the owners may be looking to get Anfield's capacity to 61,000". Nothing definite in that statement
That would involve knocking down the ARE before fully rebuilding it and then the same with the Kop wouldn't it which would impact on revenue during build as they wouldn't be able to re-use elements of the existing stands - so unlikely to get past any FSG cost-benefit analysis. Plus the obvious lack of corporate in any extended Kop (I'm not sure why there can't be corporate in the ARE but it seems they have ruled that out as well).
