BT have been pretty vocal in their criticism of the ESL and the teams involved so not sure how they could then complain if they're banned from CL and Europa
But as per the link from PaulMcC186
It stresses that a deliberate handball remains an offence but that the following scenarios will result in a free-kick even if accidental:
-if the ball goes into the goal after touching an attacking player’s hand or arm
-a player gains control/possession of the ball after it touches their hand/arm and then scores, or creates a goal-scoring opportunity
How would you play on .... with a goal kick?
I wonder what would happen if the ball accidently hits a defender on the arm in his own area, he then clears it and a teammate picks up the clearance, runs through on goal and scores ....... do they then give a penalty to the opposition?
Supposedly the proposed deal with Beane's RedBall group isn't planned to go ahead now so wonder what they'll look to do instead - were looking to get for £1.5bn for 20-25% appaarently
As Boca has said earlier ......
Explains the lack of a CB then. Less chance of winning anything means less chance our poor pampered overlords have to come over and slum it in 4* accommodation.
So are you saying its the system and not VVD then? As we've been playing a high line for the past season and a half now. I'm also not sure how VVD pinging 60yrd passes helps against those teams who are sitting deep as they are the ones we're having the difficulty against. We had space to play in against Palace and managed OK.
Militão last played 31st Oct, then got covid but has been on the Madrid bench for each game since end of Nov so it's not as if he's been injured and hasn't been able to train.
