Good points there. It was a kick in the nuts when Owen left. And they hurt! When YNWA broke the story, many on here thought it was a joke. Owen had just said a few days previously that he was close to signing a new contract with us. We had been working on the deal for so long, that no one thought he was even considering leaving. I can understand why people are still upset about his departure and the way it happened. I lost a lot of respect for Owen when that happened. I lost even more when he chose to sign for a poor football team going no where. Said a lot about him to me.

Well you could argue that it is his fault he left for £8m as he wouldnt sign the contract we all were led to believe he was going to sign. you could also argue its his fault he didnt come back cos he wouldnt force Real to sell to us, by saying he wouldnt go elsewhere. i wouldnt boo him, but i understand peoples frustrations with him.

Nice Rant kathy People seem to forget there are more on the board than just Parry and Moores. They dont make all the decision. And theres also the shareholders to answer to. How could they have justified paying twice what we got for him?

Im actually proud that we didnt pay twice the money we sold him for. If thats what happened, then i think the board have done an excellent job.
