I read there stadium was built 30 years ago for the 1974 world cup so no doubt it got massive state aid. it was expanded for the 2006 world cup so once again it would of received state aid.

I disagree Red Yoda, but no worries. I have watched Ibe for a few years now. Ibe has the ability to walk past players and leave them an there a***. Granted it has only been at reserve level, but I have not seen a player with that level of ability of going past players since a famous ex player of ours from the 80s. I am not going to say who becuase people will call me allsorts. If he kicks on the same way sterling did when he hits the first team, I think we have a real superstar. its a big big year for him hopefully he takes his chances

Hi NYR, i wasnt referring to you specifically, just a point in general. Personally I cant wait for the new stand. Staying at Anfield has always been my preferred choice. Leaving our home after all the glories would be dreadful. If we had a new stadium it would just feel false and we would be so far away from the pitch. anfield is famous for its noise, we risk losing the intimancy of the stadium if we move.
