  1. It's a joke that out of a 70,000+ seater stadium there's only 50,000ish actual football fans there.
  2. Away loyalty has been recognised for the semi so it also should be for the final.
  3. Assuming we get 25,000 tickets for the final. The selling arrangements, will, presumeably follow the semi final idea and be: 1.All people with 4 credits 2.All people with 3 credits 3.Season ticket holders with 2 credits 4.Fancard Holders with 2 credits There's roughly 6,000 people who fall into the top 2 tiers, and probably around 20,0000 that fall into the third bracket. I'd be surprised if it made FC with 2 credits to be honest.
  4. Not reccomended. A quick trip to their message board shows how much they hate us. We were getting spat on at Stamford Bridge this season and it all kicked off outside the away end because the c**** lurked there waiting for us. Horrible bunch of c**** Chelsea fans.
  5. f***in' Mancs.
  6. You're perfectly welcome to hate him. I'm just inquisitive as to why.
  7. Well in Ged mate, made up for him.
  8. That's certainly what I've noticed from the limited footage I've seen of it as well.
  9. Not got any kids because I'm only 18 but I was thinking along similar lines earlier. I'll be going the match next week and if I was 17 years older I'd have probably been at Hillsborough. Obviously at this time of year you tend to think a lot about Hillsborough but especially with an FA Cup semi coming up it just drums it into to you how lucky we all are. If we get beat I'll be walking out the ground gutted as f*** but as you say, life will go on, but for 96 people 17 years ago it stopped there and then. Always worth a thought, especially with all the ideas people are coming up with about fighting the mancs and smashing the ground up.
  10. The reason they've done it is because there's only between 5000 and 8000 people with away credits full stop, and the vast majoroty are season ticket holders. Staggering the sales between fancard holders and seasies with the same number of credits would be totally pointless and would just waste time. For example today, I rolled out of bed and bought my ticket about 10 to 10 and got through first time, got exactly the seat I wanted with no hassle, if it's that easy to get sorted then what's the point in staggering the sales? Different story with the 1 credit sale where you have 20,000 plus all wanting tickets, common sense is to seperate into seasies and fancards. The system is based on games attended and thankfully a fancard with 2 credits will always get priority over a seasie with one which is the way it should be. But when a fancard and a seasie have the same credits then the seasie gets the priority, that has always been the case and more than likely always will be, they do stump out 500 quid at the start of every season and whilst I'd love to be able to do that for a seasie they still deserve preference in them situations.
  11. I think it's a decent song and it's no worse than some of the songs that get sung.
  12. Made it much easier to get to the tram though. They wouldn't let us in there without membership cards.
  13. Fancy that one.
  14. To be fair, at that point we had 11 men with monsieur ma shagger Neville deciding to switch allegiances momentarily and give us a hand. That has to be a new one to add to the list, a Neville scoring a goal for Liverpool in a merseyside derby. You couldn't make it up.
  15. Again?, so I didn't drive yer nuts the other night then? I'll have a look mate, see if it works out any easier.
  16. Still thoroughly amazed there wasn't any noticable aggro to be honest. Their s***house fans don't like getting beat and after the two pitch invasions I could see repeats of a few seasons ago when we f***ed them 3-0. I suppose they never bothered because they only had about 10 people left in the ground at full-time.
  17. Ta Rushian, think I'm gonna go for the option of catching it from the Hawthorns because I'd imagine they'll be queues for the metro ala Villa park with trains.
  18. Couple of options available to me. 1. The last train I can catch from New Street leaves at 20:12, is it likely I'd make that? Or. Option numero duo- Train leaving from Hawthorns train station at 19:18, is it likely I'd make that? Bought my ticket for this and everything, then realised it was a 5:15 kick off (thanks Sky) so could now have quite a bit of trouble getting home! All answers on a postcard please, or, alternatively, post them in this thread.
  19. Must admit I never saw any of that. I wondered why they wanted women going in a different entrance but thought nothing of it. Deffo didn't take over 10 minutes to get in for us though, the way that ground's run it dosen't surprise me they f***ed it up though.
  20. I got there at 7:15 and it took me about 5 minutes to get in then. The search I got was no different to any other away game, just tapped down and waved to go in.
  21. Amazing. We win 7-0 away from home and still people find fault.
  22. Garcia s**** in away games.
  23. Went to the Newt last season which is sound. Big boozer so you can normally get somewhere to sit and it's a big bar so the queue isn't too bad. Went to Henney's earlier this season which is alright as well but very small so if it's packed with reds it'd be a nightmare, it was fine this season though given the kick off time.
