Thats a good post. Perhaps as I alluded to it'll be those with the most to lose - our main competitors - who'll attempt to stir things up. My fear is that there'll be a lot of our supporters who'll buy into this misinformation and start to vocally oppose the DIC takeover.

Wouldn't he be a very marketable 'asset' for DIC, instantly bringing huge attention and new fans and revenue to the club. Not my cup of tea and hardly Benitezs but I could see the reasining.

Surely there's a lot of supporters and people with a financial interest in the club who are unhappy with DIC taking over. There's also probably a group of people out there who view a great British institution being taken over by middle easterns with disgust. Then there's those connected to other clubs who are fearful of us becoming the most succesful club in England again. With all the above being true, in my view, it's hardly a surprise there's muck raking going on in the press.
