Surely the reason why this poll is so in favour of DIC rather than Gillett is because we've had time to get used to the idea they would be taking over, we know about their fabulous wealth and the amazing things they're doing in the UAE, and we've all fantasised about having the best stadium in the Premeirship with the best players in the world within our reach. Fact is, nobody knew for sure if this was ever going to be the case. The flip side is we know relatively little about Gillet and Hicks and how their proposed takeover will improve us, and we've only had 24 hours to seriously consider them. The board will have all the details and they'll be making the right decision based on the facts. They wouldn't have jeopordised the DIC deal if it was significantly better for us than Gilletts. In fact there seems to be a suggestion that they werent as ready to commit as Gillett, hence the lack of an ACTUAL offer and the subsequent hasty pullout. Thats my tuppence worth, for what its worth.

yeah but while theyre a good side soing well, they arent anything special. If they keep on winning theyre in line to break the points record, and I just dont think theyre that good. Bear in mind theyre still in the Champions league and FA Cup as well

We're 11 points behind but the goal difference makes it as good as twelve Looking at the table though United if they win all their remaining games will break the points record, and I just don't think they're that special. It aint over till its over but its gonna take us winning every single game and keeping our fingers crossed.
