  1. Does six mean he sees Firmino as a striker?
  2. Portuguese newspaper http://www.dn.pt/desporto/fc-porto/interior/aboubakar-e-ruben-neves-com-um-pe-fora-do-fc-porto-5257027.html Links us with Ruben Neves, says Porto have to sell for FFP reasons and only mentions us in connection with the player.
  3. PLAY HIM NOW! https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dagbladet.no%2Fsport%2Fedvard-15-omtales-som-norges-storste-talent-i-nyere-tid-det-inkluderer-martin-odegaard%2F60258181&edit-text=&act=url The translation is terrible but: "The ability to create an imbalance in your opponent is a rare and coveted commodity in football. That is one reason that Liverpool got Sandvik Tagseth to commit to the club on a 4-year contract already in August last year. NFF talent manager Håkon Grøttland (35) rattles pop up several causes for the English and several other top European teams' interest. From 2010 to 2014 followed 35-year-old Martin Ødegaard (17) carefully as talent develops in Buskerud SoccerCircle, and we all know drammenserens almost fairy-tale-like story that took him from the swift to Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Grøttland believes that Sandvik Tagseth is more perfect than Ødegaard was the same age, ie year before Real Madrid player debuted in the Premier League and the national team."
  4. The U-19s are in a blitz tournament thing at 3pm. 25 minutes halves. We drew with Schalke and Atletico Miniero. Need to beat Hamburger to have a chance to progress and the two knock out games are tomorrow. http://www.spax-cup.com/index.php?p=live/uebersicht Actually, it's now. Time difference. Here's the direct stream link http://www.spax-cup.com/index.php?p=live/liveticker_popup&spielid=3647
  5. Of course, and them not qualifying is another bonus
  6. Must be long odds on us getting fourth though you could see City droping a good few points. After PSG City have Chelsea and Newcastle away, then Stoke at home, Southhampton away, Arsenal at home, Swansea away
  7. The commentators on BT, I think it was Hoddle and Macca, didn't even mention the assist. It's magical.
  8. Also how he lifts the ball uses telekinesis to get it ready for the volley
  9. I suppose Allen should be, but it's hard to pick one.
  10. but only if Chelsea give us 50 million for Benteke.
  11. Ronaldinho and Daimiao are both out of contract... Feghouli, Banega, Veloso and Lavezzi are out of contract in the summer. http://www.transfermarkt.com/statistik/endendevertraege
  12. Asked whether Enrique was in his plans for Exeter, Klopp replied: “Who?” http://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jan/07/jurgen-klopp-liverpool-exeter-fa-cup-injury-curse
  13. I'd be happy with the semi-mythical 3 quality players, if they were all able to start tomorrow. A winger who gives width instead of a failed number 10. A central midfielder like Kante or Kouyate who makes tackles and brings the ball up the pitch quickly for counter attacks, instead of starting Can or Lucas. A forward who can play the channels and score some f***ing goals. Play Smith some more before deciding if we need a new left back, Flanagan to compete with Clyne as well. Firmino to be given time to gel as his track record in Germany and some glimpses show he can fit in. I don't think Mignolet should get that contract, but I also don't think we should panic buy a keeper in January. Bin the ones with no back bone or brains.
  14. I live near Hackballscross, Louth... There is also a c** Coumty, Mayo.
  15. Yeah, so it doesn't make sense that Spurs are willing to pay 12 when elsewhere it has reported a development fee would be in the range of 5.
  16. Stewart, Piechnik, Bjornebye Diouf, Diao, Cheyrou
  17. This has been an issue for two decades though. We constantly need to replace 3/4 players in the line up or squad with much better, and end up with 5/6 duds and one good player, rather than a sure fire starter every time. We can't afford to buy 3 or 4 sure things, and it continues. Coaching and patience should be the answer, but it hasn't worked has it? When the teams ahead of us can go just go out and buy 1/2 players and vastly improve over us it's difficult to see how we are going to catch up. The end, no moral.
  18. I'd take Milner over Lucas. I know he's 29 soon, but he's still got legs, he can play anywhere, and he's vastly underrated.
  19. Looked composed, knew when to clear, when he could take the ball past a man, played some really good forward thinking passes, and doesn't look like he put a pass or a foot wrong most of the match. These compilation things ignore stuff like positioning, but that was a really promising performance.
  20. No, but at Southhampton it was clear who was going to be the man to attack the point, here he pulls the whole defense out of shape because they don't seem to remember that Lovren is going straight for the ball. Sakho does it too, so a potential partnership of them will need loads of time to sort that out. Can we get Henchoz and Hyypia back to teach our defenders how to cover?
  21. That first goal there is absolutely no cover from the midfield though, everyone got pulled over to our left or was up in their half still. Lots of our problems seem systemic.
  22. I saw that quote somewhere too, think it was an image posted on reddit, but when I went searching for the quote I couldn't find it.
  23. He really doesn't look heavy at all.
  24. Lazar Markovic Menace
  25. Am I the only who thinks Milner is underrated, he's basically Kuyt with more pace.
