  1. Jimmy Ryan (sp?) has just scored Liverpool one nil up
  2. Thought he had a great game
  3. If he would have been at Old Trafford he'd have had a United scarf, at Arsenal he'd have their scarf etc etc
  4. As the song goes 'When you walk through a storm hold your head up high', one freak result doesn't suddenly mean we are as bad as some would make it out to be just like one win does'nt suddenly make us the best. Yes it was embarrassing and sat there in the ground it was like being in a bad dream you want to wake up from but you take it on the chin dust yourself down and look to the next match thats what fans have to do. It was bad but let us not forget we have seen greatness before and will again im sure.. YNWA
  5. I'm sure Juventus, Chelsea and Milan were rubbing their hands together when we got beat by Burnley...
  6. We've scored some cracking goals this season thanks for that
  7. Every game is a big game
  8. Couldnt agree more I think we'll always miss his energy in midfield and as you said its apparently easy to forget just how good he really is. Cant wait for him to come back and heres a reminder just in case anyone has forgotten just how great our momo is....
  9. I remember Liverpool playing Sheffield Wednesday away about ten years ago on the last day of the season when we needed to win to finish in the top two to get in the Champions league. If my dodgy memory is right I think they ended up having Andy Booth or some other outfield player in net late in the second half and Redknapp scored off a free-kick but after that we couldnt manage to score again. Think we ended up finishing forth in a two horse race for the title that year, ah the good old days!
  10. In that case maybe Rafa should watch that Shaolin Soccer movie and maybe sign some of those lads up
  11. We have five thanks to Crouch saving england against Trinidad
  12. You could always right click then save target as, that should get you the files might take awhile tho depending on your download speed.
  13. The goals are on the BBC website
  14. On a side note Gary Speed was sat not to far from me in the Main stand cue Speed to Liverpool rumours

    Youth Cup

Think they play Southampton in the semi finals over two legs if they manage to hang onto the slender lead they have tonight

  17. No idea just remember a pointless link in some paper around the time, I think if I remember right around that time everton was supposed to sign Martin Dahlin but he went to the World cup scored a few and ended up somewhere else much to the disgust of my everton mates at the time Then again thanks to that World Cup Phil Babb managed to get into the view of Roy and the rest is a blocked out memory! Back to the links anyway, I always regretting us not trying harder to buy Marco Gabbiadini how the 90's would have been different
  18. Think that was michael laudrup, guess I'm just remembering some old random newspaper link from years ago bit like when we got linked to that Swiss player Alain Sutter after he scored in the World Cup in 1994. Now thats a random memory of pointless transfer links for ya
  19. Remember us getting linked to Les Ferdinand in his QPR days always thought he would have been a good signing to play up front with Fowler at the time. Didn't we get linked to Brian Laudrup at some point? Would have loved him to sign think it was when he was at Rangers.
  20. Same here I tips me hat to you Crouchy a great signing and a great bloke from what i've seen in his interviews aswell. It still annoys me when the media say hes got a good touch for a big man, to be honest hes got a great touch no matter what height he is. I'm sure at the start of 2005 if anyone would have said that crouch would not only be playing for us but would have scored our last goal of the year and been as good as he has been I probably would have laughed, but now I couldn't be more happier!

  22. I just would think that if the club desperatly wanted him back and if they think that by January they will have the money to buy him they could try to arrange a deal with Real that spreads the costs meaning they could buy him now. Then again they are dealing with Real which makes it harder but surely considering he wants to come both clubs would find a way to make it happen, but hey we'll find out soon enough would hate to see him playing for Newcastle tho.
  23. One thing i dont understand is that if we cant afford to bring Owen in now where is the money going to come from to get him in January?
