BBC are running a story that FIFA reckon only captains should be allowed to talk to referees. Something about it on Football focus tomorrow. I've been saying for years it's the only ood thing about rugby and should be introduced in football.

by all accounts Celtic have agreed his wages, which aren't anything like the money he's on in Madrid. His image rights and some castle shall be compensation. A French, two Italian, one US club are also in apparently.

I know this is ridiculous and there's not a great deal to back it up, but I would actually rather Barca than Bremen... I don't trust 'easy draws' any more.

I've said often that they've never been the same since Real dicked them in the CL at the height of Galacticoism. Not only were they swept aside but deep, deep down, even the most deluded among all those tools stopped believing the 'biggest club in the world' BS. I think that had quite an affect on their swagger and confidence which they never got back.

I bet a big factor is that many players are disappointed at the quality of some of the players. Particularly some signings. Nothing to back it up, but if we think it I'd imagine professional footballers do.
