I for one am absolutely certain Rafa told him to be 'lazy' that day. I.e. to stay up there and make them defend deep. There simply is no other explanation. Otherwise he wouldn't have lasted five minutes up there, let alone played another game.

That's exactly what I told my mate last night. I think it will be at least cut to half (15 points or less).

Platini was truly a great player and I can't remember him being a c*** on the field of play. Better than Zidane in my opinion.

You obviously have only looked at the slo-mo replays, they tend to make every little movement a bit theatrical and every touch is softer than it actually is. I agree with Gilps, I also think the peno was justified.

Aye, he was nowhere to be seen before England scored. When Ecuador pushed up, he had a bit of space, but I'm sure both Messi and Tevez would have made better use of it.

It's not funny at all. Not so long ago we bought a player and his replacement at the same time. Dudek and Kirkland.
