I prefer our version. They may be loud and passionate but they're cutting corners with the melody in my opinion. Their 'walk on' bit is the same each time and I think we do it better.

Perhaps, but only because A) he hasn't won the Premiership and B) he's not a 'colourful' personality and C) he's not British.

Sami has been somewhat inconsistent due to the number of matches (internationals included, way more than Carra for example) and the fact that he is 33 years old. He needs a break from time to time but injuries (Agger's a bit injury prone, isn't he?) have forced him to play more than his share.

One should also take into account the quality of the opposition and other factors such as the number of games home/away before making any hasty conclusions. I'm not taking sides here but that is a very fragile statement as such.

OK, I stand corrected. On the Beeb Premiership scorers table only it only read 'Bent' and the Beeb's Charlton page ran a story about Marcus so I jumped into the wrong conclusion. Anyway, the point remains that that's a pretty amazing statistic...
