Of course the referee Mike Riley was aware that this kind owls have been a protected species since 1983 in Finland and did not let play continue until the owl left the field of play... Anyway, right after the owl episode Finland scored and now people are asking where the hell this owl was on Saturday against Serbia? On morning TV today one presenter said that the name Hyypiä actually refers to an owl and since Sami was suspended from the Belgium game, he didn't want to miss out...
