dont know if this has been mentioned but it looked like his foot didnt give way when it should have done against the weight of his body and thus causing his leg to snap under such force. normally the grip of the foot in the ground would give way before the leg would break. i dont know if the issue of modern studs in the boots are the cause of this but it surely it leaves the door open for some sort of inquiry doesnt it? similar to rooney in the sense that had his foot given way then the bone would not have broken

without rafa we wouldnt have gerrard, so clearly rafa is more important, cause without gerrard we;d still have rafa. but on a clearer point, rafa is clearly more important. he decides how we play and he gets the best out of stevie. without rafa, we might have a manager who plays a rubbish system and does not harness stevies talents in the proper manner and therefore the effect of steven gerrard is nullified ergo........ definately not true as far as i know. im just waiting for a player to take his case to the european court claiming his club are demanding an extortionate transfer fee which his hindering his free movement of labour. but then again players get a slive of the fee so it probably will never happen. bosman mark II would be superb
