Agger allows us to play a more positive game - so it comes down to philosophy do defenders only defend in which case its Carra' and Skrtel or do defenders also allow the team to play higher and set up attacks , in which case its Agger. Generally I go for Agger.

I'm not a nay sayer, but we have made it hard for ourselves, the fans know it, the players know it, Rafa knows it, and importantly Man U know it and it's spurring them on. Technically we still have it in our own hands, but realistically its going to take a little luck and some mess ups from the other challengers for us to win it. We really need to start regularly scoring goals, this is the big weakness ( regardless of formation). If you look at the other challengers, they have many more players that can score goals than we do, we've been lucky that they've scored less goals than they normally do at this stage of the season

one of the problems is getting a reserve side into a decent league with sufficient games - wouldn't it be wonderful if we had a reserve side in the championship ?

Tend to agree with - that, and it's clear Gerrard and Torres are out most potent strike force. However, there will be Keane ! ( sounds like a prognostication of violence, anyway moving on). 4231 will incorporate Keane who I believe brings disunity to the force. Also while admiring the work done and the crucial goals Kuyt brings to the team, I often find myself wondering why can't Babel replace Kuyt out wide? - by that I mean what's going on in Babel's head? As for Reira, now he's scoring goals and getting assist I think he's a big part of our progress this season, and a sign of hope. let's face it it took him several years to mature into a good player and he's showing signs of improving on that.

I would prefer british clubs to be fighting over him, that way we'd get a transfer fee. Remember Foreign clubs don't have to pay a transfer fee owing to the state of his contract
