Absolutely. I can only imagine we've chatted to him and he wants to go. We've shown in the past we don't stop players going if they want a move and our asking price is met. We're going to have to replace him surely. I imagine the difference between knocking off £10m from Guehi's price and getting £30-40m for him from Milan. Another HG gone though.

Looks like a lot of teams have decided the refs are s*** and easily conned so are going down for every slight touch. Newcastle the latest. -
Their chairman has said he needs to be sold - why would we help them out with a deal we don't need to make?

Utterly atrocious. Still can't trust refs not to let their need to feel involved, their invented narrative of the day and their club biases influence their decisions.

Bad decisions don't stop if you bin off VAR. At least with it some bad decisions get overturned. f***ing Hooper wouldn't have sent off Gordon without it. -

Can't wait for the Joycey article when it all collapses saying "Anfield sources believe Slot can mold Tsimikas into an effective understudy to Etikite". At some point it's going to dawn on clubs this one out two in system has limited application Wonder what they've been hammering in a Dubai hotel room. If only there was a way to get more clarity on the situation.

Nothing against the Greeks at all, a lovely race and I'm a big fan of halloumi. Incidentally, my son asked his primary school teacher if they ever had halloumi for lunch, thereby confirming him as the most middle-class child ever.

Really seems to me they wanted him mainly to get one over on us. I can't see him at City but then I am a bright-eyed idealist when it comes to footballers, despite my ornery exterior.

I'm really surprised at how obviously he's been discarded already. Don't see what Real's plan for him is if they/Alonso prefer Carvajal so much. Do they just sign players on Bosman's to spite rivals or an eye for the sell-on?
