  1. Or a great example of confirmation bias.
  2. Weird opening. I'm not taking criticism or sacking calls "personally". Yes, I think he should at least get the season with the only breaking point being a serious risk of relegation, which we're miles off. I don't have a clue what our hierarchy's breaking point is. Probably earlier than mine as I suspect CL is required.
  3. Maybe I'm naive but I thought Liverpool fans had a bit more loyalty to managers.
  4. There's a whole new wave of cod psychoanalysis going on.
  5. Oh right, it's just all part of your comedy routine.
  6. You say who cares about what happened about the end to last season then you state you care about how performances haven't been good. You either care about something or you don't. You can't claim indifference to results end of last then use those same games to beat Arne with.
  7. You were also Chief "Jesus Bailo let the lads party from May onwards, results don't matter you absolute bore". So results do matter now?
  8. "Trending downwards" when the trend is a handful of games. It's not a trend. Or at least, if it is, it's nothing that City didn't get through last year.
  9. Sammy was king of "other teams can play well and be good and sometimes they're better than us and it's entitled to whine when we don't win every game or our rivals win one" last season. He's how Mr Kick Out Slot after a run of bad form when good teams played well against us.
  10. "It’s just a holding pattern now. What are we waiting for? 5 losses in a row? 6? 7? The argument we have 29 games left is an argument that we can still do something if we get someone who doesn’t think it’s unfair the other team, change formation or run or kick the ball far away."
  11. You're being incredibly snide about our league winning manager. Didn't take long at all.
  12. You are incredibly tiresome and, oddly enough, only pop up on here when we're not doing well.
  13. He won the league last season. People are acting like it's continued lack of success like the end Houllier/Rodgers years. It's 4 f***ing games and now talking points used by oppo fans last year to discredit him are being used by our own.
  14. Really really surprised how quickly people have turned on him.
  15. Absolutely. Palace, Brentford, Bournemouth all very good teams. One could easily win a European competition if they qualified. The PL is massively stronger than any other league in depth. Those people use both runaway winners and historic low points totals to win as evidence of the same weak league to suit. It's only ever used to discredit our wins.
  16. In the context of the league we can lose it and still qualify. But you know that, you just wanted a f***ing hell moment.
  17. Good perspective.
  18. Palace is in a nothing competition. Obviously we want to get back into form though. Madrid doesn't matter as plenty of clubs showed last year you can scrape into the next stages, you don't win. Anyone can lose to City no matter their form. Villa is a big one, we do need to win that. I'm not sacking Slot if he doesn't, mind.
  19. Who knows. Ultimately it boils down to "Should our Championship winning manager be sacked off the back of a bad season?". I'm saying no. Some are saying yes which I find very weird. City lost 4 on the bounce last season and still qualified for CL after finishing strongly. It mostly depends what our hierarchy think and if we can afford a year out of the CL. It didn't mean Jurgen was sacked. The complicating factor is if Jurgen makes himself available. I think FSG go back to him in an instant.
  20. And that's just the last two pages. We're coming across as a massively entitled fanbase. Loads of teams lose 4 games, doesn't really matter if they're in a run or spaced out over the season. We knew the Klopp era squad was on its way out, big change at fullbacks, up front - some out of our control, some within. No team has ever defended a title with so much churn that needed doing. And I got it full bore last season saying we shouldn't have allowed the squad to slack off like they did after winning the title.
  21. Really does feel some people have gone off the deep end on a run of bad form. This is absolutely mad.
  22. It took Guardiola ages to adapt though and they're still nowhere close to their peak.
  23. How can we be so bad at long balls with two giant, aerially powerful CBs? It boggles the mind.
  24. Twitter ablaze with Meijer injured rumours. Camara also a doubt. Heggem done for the season as well.
  25. Weird scheduling this weekend. Makes it feel light and scattered
