    I reckon European Cup final being the last game of the season would take the shine off City winning the league, and confirm us to everyone bar the English as the best team in the world. But we need more league titles so I don't know.

    I'm more worried about paying 45-60 quid every couple of weeks to watch Liverpool than what wages Salah gets. If football has so much money in it I want the players getting it over the owners or directors

    Sergi, Kohler and Carlos Gamarra are another 3 I was really wanted us to sign. I remember sitting up on to about 3 in the morning to watch a Brazilian forward for Cruzerio called Fabio Junior on Channel cos he was linked. Think I fell asleep 10 minutes into it. We were linked with some class players and signed plenty of s***e.

    With Derry City's record sale being about 350 - 400 grand for a player who'd played loads for their first team, 100 grand is big money (for that level, nothing to us) for a player who's never played for their first team.

    Van Dijk is our highest paid player. I reckon he's in the top 5 highest paid in his position. Alisson would probably be top 5 kerpers too. Klopp is in top 5 paid managers. What Salah's asking for would probably put him around top 5 forwards.

    He bought Friedel and gave him a go, too late I think, and he was crap too. I remember we were linked with Chilavert. I was dying for us to sign him, probably cos I wanted to see a keeper hit free kicks.

    He's probably the best appointment they could make, though. Got Ajax to semi finals of Champions League. Similar to Klopp at Dortmund considering Ajax aren't as rich as Dortmund.
