    Mane is our most in form forward. Scored 6 in 6 I think. But only Salah is a guaranteed starter.

    Jota's scored 5 goals after coming on as sub since joining us. Firmino has scored 12, 6 since Jota joined, but one was against Shrewsbury so doesn't really count. Both seem to be decent as subs.

    Thiago should definitely start. We're far more balanced when him and Fabinho play together. They both go deep and give us a good platform to play. I'd start Henderson too.

    I don't think we can say we play our best football with them 3 when they haven't played much together in ages. I was thinking I don't want Jota starting cos he loses the ball too easily too often but City don't really counter attack these days. The only time I remember 4 forwards playing was away to City in 1-1. That might be because we played well that day and I've forgot the bad games.

    When was the last brilliant game we've had with them 3 starting? I'm not saying it isn't true, I genuinely can't remember. I'd be tempted to start Firmino cos he should make it harder for City's midfield.

    I despise him. Rodgers at least knew what it meant to manage Liverpool, Hodgson thought he was above us and we should accept being s***. Apparently he was an absolute c*** to any journalists that asked him questions. Called Tony Barrett too Scouse cos he was asking hard questions.

    He did pick a mad one when we beat them 3-0 in Europe in 18/19. I think it was Gundogan left midfield it something. But they've mostly outplayed us recently, except for the 1-1 at their ground. There's reasons why we haven't been as good but neutrals would say we are making excuses.

    He was offered a deal by clubs in January. He'll get another deal on at least 10 grand a week if he wants it in the summer. He has no shame so he'll probably sign it and get dropped after a month or two and pick up the money for 4 years. Or get a pay off. He'd never signed a keeper. Always inherited one and just left them to it.

    Didn't it take him longer than 4 weeks to get in the team? I went to Swansea away, I think that was his league debut. He was crap from the start. Could tell he was bad at judging the flight of cross immediately.

    Apparently his pressing is decent. Could he adapt to being a centre forward who drops deep, like Firmino?
