    Van Dijk is our highest paid player. I reckon he's in the top 5 highest paid in his position. Alisson would probably be top 5 kerpers too. Klopp is in top 5 paid managers. What Salah's asking for would probably put him around top 5 forwards.

    He's probably the best appointment they could make, though. Got Ajax to semi finals of Champions League. Similar to Klopp at Dortmund considering Ajax aren't as rich as Dortmund.

    The team got worse for a few years after selling both them. I don't think we have to choose between Klopp and Salah.

    We didn't get better after selling Torres or Suarez. If it takes a few years to replace him we could be wasting the last few years of Klopp not challenging for the big trophies.

    Good managers are always more important than players but players get paid more. Klopp is in top 5 highest paid managers in the world. Would Salah's expected wage put him in the top 5 highest paid players? He's not looking to be paid the most.

    Leaks were going on well before the interview so we could pave the way for him to leave. He was a d****ead for doing it but we clearly offered him a new deal too late and were underpaying him. I've no problem if anyone thinks he's a c*** but I could see the club trying similar with Salah, greedy c*** etc, if he doesn't like our contract offer.

    It's on them if they can't persuade him to join after we came 2nd in the league. There's no way he was the only good forward available. And Balotelli is nothing like Sanchez so he was an awful back up plan.

    I think he's doing really well this season. Seems to be getting important goals but I haven't really looked at it closely.

    I don't think Mahrez has half the goals and assists Salah has since Salah joined Liverpool.
