It sounded like "thanks writer" (as in author presumably)

That paid off! I bow down to your uncanny insight into the Benitez brain. But still early doors....

There is now! League name: YNWA League password: goodoldrafa

Um... it's kind of like a satirical thing, yeah? Sort of expressing the disappointment many of us felt at yesterday's performance. That kind of thing. Probably lost on the po-faced.

Mate just sent me this... made me laugh, and sort of cry inside too. "Cracking start to the campaign last night… Robbie Keane looked the real deal, his first touch is what’s really going set him apart and Torrres looked really comfortable having a partner up front…. Alonso’s bounced back from the Barry saga and was keen to show the confidence of two years ago whilst Liverpool proved they are a team that can play without Stevie… But the most encouraging development is the left back problem looks to be solved with the £7 million purchase of Dossena who dealt with his defensive duties and linked up with the wingers beautifully… And not like an over-priced, over-weight lump who pushes forward like a c*** and is second to every single challenge on the park. Can’t wait for Sunderland on Saturday."

That is one of the funniest and most heart-warming things I've seen. Pepe the hilarious showman. Who'd have thought it?
